Just wondering does everyone leave there cushions in or take them out of there caravans in the winter, and allso if they leave the handbrake on or off?
Where we now live, its cushions in, that's the bas and back, the rest stays in, in the last house all the cushions were left in, i just aired the van a few times with the heater.
Always have the handbrake OFF, whether on site or at home, both wheels chocked.
Cushions left in van, just moved from against the sides,
Handbrake off.
The only "con" about leaving a handbrake on is that the brake linings may get stuck against the drum, especially in the kind of damp weather we have had this year, if the van is not moved regularly.
Sometimes they are easily freed but sometimes they can cause quite expensive problems.
