Inaca awning

Been looking at awnings for a while and think I have found a good one. Inaca Sands size 1025 pre 2003 model £440 present model costs £750. Can upgrade to Fibreglass poles for £100 but salesperson advised me to stick with the steel because of the weight of the canvas. Can anyone here offer any advice on this would I be wasting my money on the upgrade and is the awning a good one. My husband says he isn't concerned about the weight issue as we may even carry the awning in the car. Do most people transport them in the car or van. Hope you can help. Denise.

I bought a Dorema awning at the show at NEC and the salesman automatically upgraded to fibre poles. He said the fibre poles are as strong as steel but half the weight.

I wanted my awning made bigger went to a specalist asked about steel over light wieght poles told me to keep the steel poles due to all the damaged ones he was getting in where the light wieght poles i think it tells a story, dont you.
