Hi, has anyone had a Bailey Pegasus 462?
I am having a small problem with left & right indicators. A few weeks ago it was the offside not working checked socket on car/ plug on van all seemed OK sprayed both with electrical spray light worked, have come away again same problem but this time both indicators not working went through same procedure as before and after a while both worked.
I have not been able to check bulb connection wondering if there is some slight corrosion with them but cannot see how you get covers off from lights which in the event of a bulb blowing would cause problems of its own so does anyone have any idea how you can get to the bulbs on this caravan, cheers.

As suggested by IanB1485 I have taken photos of the rear lights. There are no screws visible and no access from inside so I am assuming that the covers on the lights are a push fit but am reluctant to insert anything in what I believe is a drain hole in bottom of lens cover 1000003191.jpg1000003190.jpg1000003190.jpg

got this off caravantalk forum back in 2011
  • Push a flat screwdriver into the recess at the base of the light.
  • Gently prise the bottom of the light unit out whilst pulling in a downward movement on the top of the light.
  • The complete unit will now pull away from the rear panel
  • To refit is simply the reversal of the removal.

the poster who asked about how to remove them did struggle as they were ve tight in the holes in the rear panel, Good luck

When you work out how to gain access to the bulbs, take each one out and give a clean up with some wire wool and then use a smear of Dielectric Grease. Saves a lot of issues with lights.
Worth using some on the hook up plug as well.
