Under the kitchen sink, attached to the cold water pipe, thats were my 2004 senator is. You need long arms to change it.

The champagne filter is behind the two drawers above the fire. I have replaced mine with the new filtapac unit that means I just replace the inside filter rather than the whole lot for around a fiver. Yes it is a long reach across, I cut the old one off and joined the new one to the plastic pipes, remember it will still have waterin so a bowel under it is agood idea.

Funnily enough I had to change mine as despite opening the taps etc the filter had split along its length due to the hard frosts we had over the winter. What fun shutting down the taps to bulk the system to blow out the air and you can still hear running water.

Back to the subject at hand: because of its fiddly location I would recommend that you have some means of gently warming the pipes at both ends, when you have undone the jubilee clips, as this will make sliding the pipes from the spiggots much more easily.
