insecure lockers

have a problem with the lockers on my Lunar quasar EB even though they are locked they come open whilst travelling any ideas of cause and or solution please
 
Hello Ray,

You don't say how old your caravan is, but lockers that don't stay shut are not lockers, and thus they are not fit for purpose. Write to your dealer explain the problem and ask for a repair as the lockers are not fit for purpose or there is a design flaw.

If the dealer refuses to play ball then contact Trading Standards and the CAB for more detailed advice.
 
Hi Ray

These lockers need a good firm push to enable the rubber seal to flatten thus allowing the latch to fully extend, then lock it up. It has happened on occasions with mine though they have not come open while travelling.
