Insurance increases! Nice Timing. But, how much more?

We had a nice letter today from Tesco. Just to inform us that our pet insurance is going up due to the increased tax on insurances. No doubt Sainsbury will be sending the same for our other pet insurance and the the car insureres, house, caravan and all the others

Just what I needed when I just filled up at a record price for diesel due to the VAT increase

we cancelled owe dogs insurance when they put it up afew years back & paid by direct debit into the bank we have now got just over 500 quid in their after we had paid out 60 for a small problem she had which we would have had to do as owe excess was 60 pounds , i remember about 5 years or so back that one of pc forum members got together with a group of fellow caravanners paid 1500 into the bank each then their annual insurance fee each year & had somekind of agreement with each other because they were fed up with insurance hikes...hasbo
