Just sold my Honda motorcycle - 6 months (approx) of insurance left. So rang S-----n to cancel it.
Simple innit?
Well "she" said there will be a cancellation fee of £60:52.
You are joking aren't you?
BBBbbbut the premium for the whole year was only £51:52 (TPF and T)
No way am I paying that!
What do you want to do then Sir? ---
Leave the bloody thing insured then - good day!!
Do they really take us as clowns?

Disgraceful. They should be reported to the Financial Services Authority.

The other trick they do when a policy is cancelled mid term is to charge short term rates which in effect doubles the premium!!!
I'm afraid it's heads they win ,tails you lose.

Used Swindles once and never again! My policy was paid up front and they wanted a £60 cancellation fee.
