Insurance renewal

Hello folks,

I have been insured with the CC for 3 years now and my renewal is due this month. My caravan is 1 year old and is insured new for old. Can anyone reccomend a company to offer good service that they have found to beat CC renewal quotes?

What 'problem' you may find is that many Companies will give you a discount to join them, but it disappears after the end of year 1. If you are a 'rate tart' then you can of course keep changing, but you may run out of options eventually.

It also depends on your age, if you are over 50 then Saga can be extremely competitive, I have also heard that NFU are worth looking at. As far as the CC is concerned the insurance itself is provided by a 3rd party Company eg Red Star and you are getting their rates, with a discount. It may, or may not be the most competitive. Advising them you are thinking of leaving may concentrate their efforts on your behalf however. Also do ensure they are insuring you correctly, I found out to my costs that their mistakes cost me dearly, and I left never to return.

We were also with CC.Insurance until recently....shopped around and got a quote with Tourer Select and saved
 
Thanks very much folks for the advice. I will try them all. I just got a quote from Caravan wise that beat the CC easily. NFU was well over the CC renewal quote though.
