I am looking for opinions on caravan insurance, is it a good idea to have your caravan insured with the same insurance company as your towing vehicle? As in the event of an accident there will be no conflict between companies my car is currently with saga and i was thinking of them for my caravan Also does anyone know of a reliable alarm for my caravan as there seems to be a lot to choose from. All answers welcome thx.
 
I can't see it makes a differnce. If you get a competetive quote for both from the same company go for it. As yet I have never had a good quote for both from the same company and so go with the deal that suits me best.

No comment on alarms, I've had 2, both totally reliable and effective (as far as I can tell) but both fitted as standard so I don't know who's they are. I suspect that like so much, within reaso, you get what you pay for, and you choose accordingly. My current one had infra red intruder alarm, tilt sensor, a stead movement sensor, remote control and a panick button, but would you want all of that if you were fitting it as an after market device?
