Insurance v Security v Discounts

Had our renewal through today, as we only have a 91 challenger price is cheap.

But I noticed the big push on the discounts for having security on the van.

Discounts for not claiming, wheel clamps, corner steady sensors, storage on clubs compound/cassoa 'gold' facility and ATC

dID THE SAME THING AGAIN HIT THE TAB BY MISTAKE

To continue last but not least Caravan club towing course.

Points, I know new vanners might take the course and then get a discount, does this mean that we are not capable of towing correctly?

Also What is an ATC trailer control devise?

I know two things for ats = air training corps & air traffic control not htese obvisioulsy.

Any ideas?

Smiley,

I think ATC stands for 'Active Trailer Control' and this is an electronic device that takes its feed from the car electrics. When the sensors on the caravan feel a potential snake, they activate the caravan brakes to bring the outfit back under control.

No doubt there will be more posts to give you a bigger picture of what ATC stands for,

best regards, Martin

My insurer said they would give me a discount if my caravan has ATC, I said it doesn't but my car has trailer Stability Assist (TSA)

Did I get my discount????????????? NO.
