Insurance yet again but why????

I am in the prossess of obtaining insurance quotes for a new Abbey Vouge 215 with a value including mover ect of 13.5k.

My car, which I use every day cost 19k.

I have been a good boy (up to now ) and not claimed on either policies for hundreds of years.

My van I use between 6 and 10 times a year for (say) 50 days max.

My car costs £160 Fully comp all singing all dancing.

The quotes for the van to date are Park home 302.75, Saga over 400 and when the C.C wake up in the morning I am sure they ( my existing insurers) will be an arm and a leg, and thats dispite being a club set up for the benifit of its members.

Somehow the relitive values seem wrong to me or am I just an innocent abroad.

Plus, caravans are usually more expensive than cars. Your
