Interior lights problem

Interior lights, TV etc all work when plugged into mains but nothing works when using leisure battery

Please give us a clue. Van manufacture, model, age, etc.

Also - mains lights and TV don't work from 12v battery.

The TV would work on the 12v system if the OP had that type, but doesnt everything go through the MSU anyway, regardless of voltage.

It sounds more like the battery is either flat or not connected correctly. The caravan should have a battery check either by coloured lights or a gauge and I would check that or if no check try a meter on it.
