I've changed the G4 halogen bulbs in the three dome fittings in my Bailey Pageant to G4 back fitting 15 LEDs. Also the two 10w bayonet bulbs in the awning light I changed to LED. Power demand from the battery is almost negligable.

All of the 12v lights in my 2010 coachman have been replaced by LED as well as dealer fit of some extra LED strips which Coachman supplied. the same was true of my 2007.

hello- we are looking into changing our lights in our BaileyRanger 510/4,could you please tell me where you bought your light replacements from and how difficult where they to fit. Please note I am not technical so the easier the directions the better. We are looking into changing the one flourescent above the cooker/sink area, all 3 of the dome lights in the roof and possible would there be a need for a small led strip over the front chest for reading/crosswording? cheers gary

I put two strips in each tube space and I bought them from e bay from Hong Kong for under three quid.

If you do buy them from there, watch for incorrect polarity on the wires. Dont worry if you get it wrong, you will not blow them.

They are far better than the tubes, will last 1000 times longer and they burn .00008 of an amp roughly, whereas a 15 watt tube will consume 1.25 amps on a 12 volt circuit

Good luck

I replaced the GU4 reading spots over the bed with led's and one set of 2x G4 from the overhead lounge light with flat side pin led's.

The regulators were built into the led's so all I had to do was to pull out the halogen bulbs and gently slide the pins of the led's in to the receivers.

The led's (I bought warm white for both sets) are as bright as the halogen that they replaced with no flickering or heat from the led's.

I bought mine from Ultraleds
