Internal roller blinds

Hi every one I'm a new kid on the camper motorhome scene....I have a fiat Ducato 1997 royale can anyone tell me how to repair the roller blinds...ours are curling up at the ends please

Hi, welcome to the Practical Motorhome forum and thanks for posting. Welcome also to the world of motorcaravanning! Hopefully someone can answer your query.

My own van is a Swift Escape 2013 model but roller blinds needed running repairs.

I bought spares from Caratech and repaired and re-tensioned all my roller blinds last year. There was a tech article on here a year or so back about repairing blinds i unrolled and straightened the edges with a cool iron and a tea towel to protect them. I repaired a couple of small tears on the edges, using silver duct tape on the silver side of the blind, v v strong and barely noticeable. Once you are happy, re-roll the blind quite tightly and retension using a screwdriver and refit the blind to the cassette. Don't over tension ......

You may need to fit some new parts
