Inverter generators

I'm considering buying an inverter generator, around 2kw output, for standby use at home, using power tools beyound my extension leads and possibly for off grid caravanning ( hence the inverter specification)

Currently my choice would be the Hyundia HY 2000 Si very much less than the equivalent Honda but more than Clarkes / Machine Mart own brands.

Any views please ?

I have been using a Kipor IG2600 for around 3 years and it performs very well with no problems.
A 2000w generator will struggle if using it on site and you need to use electric heating with other electrics on as well.

Thanks for the replies. Off grid use will be minimal and mainly in the summer. The present van has Whale blown air heating which i would use on gas (nice big bottle of cheap Spanish gas) so only need the 12v for controls and fans. Similarly fridge would be on gas.
and of the open frame type
Lidls have a reasonable generator this week but without inverter output.
