ipad v MS tablet

Hi all

I had been looking at tablets and scarring myself silly with the prices.

I like the ipad and ipad mini but also I like the MS tablet mainly because of the pirple magnetic keyboard.

But my question is with MS it is using windows so they do 2 and 4 ram. I know from my daughters lp 2gb ram was very slow.
Is there anyone up on these things?

tried ipad and it seem ok but you can only use screen to type on.

what do you use?
 
I can only give an opinion regarding the IPad which I've been using since they were launched, started with the original version and now using the latest, my opinion is it is brilliant! I spoke to one of our IT boffins at work and he assures me that they are far more secure than anything that uses windows which I think is a plus point, it is simplicity itself to use and there is pretty much a free app for anything you want to do on it, I bought a new laptop as well about 6 months ago and I think it's been switched on maybe 3 times since I got it because I do almost everything on here using the laptop mainly for photo storage.
