Is this the ultimate caravan - summer of winter?

Have you got the chutzpah to go away in this outfit?

Go to ebay and put tjis number into the search engine (you don't need to be a member);

Now isn't that something?

Oldfogey,

What a peice of kit I`d love to have the `where with all` to buy it, 7.5ltr puts the 4x4 debate in the shade, what do you reckon it might do to the gallon? or how many ltrs to the mile?

IAN, if you look at the pics its much like an ordinary car and van for width, unless the pickup is really wide to start with.

I still fancy one but can`t afford( so the wife says)

7.5 litres may not be any too much, pulling that lot fully laden for a few months touring.

I wonder if a custom shop somewhere could turbo charge it?

Then you'd be talking gallons per mile, not miles per gallon!

Don't think it wasn't a little bit tempting!

Maybe when we get older and no longer want the bother of awnings, towing, setting up on site etc. we'll think about a unit of this type.

The problem, of course, is where to keep it. I like to store my unit at the house, convenient for quick packing and doing any work. No way would that thing fit!
