Isabella Magnum Awning

Is any forum member using an Isabella Magnum Porch Awning with a Coachman 460/2 model.

If 'yes' can you tell me if the awning fits the van without obscuring any of its facilities/features, or do you suffer a loss of say the outside electrical point being covered by the foam pads or perhaps, have to partially place the awning over the window to obtain a 'fit.

This model of van is not on Isabella's list of approved vans for this awning, but it is difficult in establishing precisely why it is listed as unsuitable as measurements do seem to indicate that, all be it tight, it will fit.

You can see from the above that the van is not yet in our posession - due in middle of May - and am trying to be prepared on the awning front for a fast get-away. Also not wanting a full awning.

I bought an Isabella Magnum awning from the NEC last month. I wanted to know that the awning wouldn't obscure the front side window. The guy asked what caravan it was and went to a book that contained details of how the awning fitted to the caravan.

He told me that the end of the awning would be between the kitchen and front side window so no problem and the only issue was that the awning obscured one of the side locker doors.

I guess this book came from Isabella so it may be worth ringing up an Isabella dealer and asking them about fitting the awning to your caravan. They may also have this book.
