We are having our first (and last) WHOLE week away this year from next Tuesday, we have only managed 3 + 4 night breaks to date and am looking forward to a longer stint. We are popping up to Wales, havent been there for years. Taking the daughter and Grandson with us so he will keep me busy.

OH has swatted loads of them over the last few day's whilst at the van with the electric bat :evil: 😗 , last weekend SIL fried 12 by dinner time on the Saturday :woohoo: :woohoo: :evil: ....

Oh no not the Bee stings 🙁 time before last I had one, my left arm was bigger than Popeye's!!!, four hour's in North Devon district Hospital. Always carry Antihistamine tab's now :woohoo:

A bit of a thunderstorm here in the West Midlands earlier this afternoon, just as I was getting the Pajero ready for our trip on Monday.
I hope you're staying dry (on the outside anyway) in the pub DD.
We're off on Monday to a nice little CS in Clapham, 3 miles north of Bedford where we will meet up with Deli Dave and the lovely Linda and some other friends from 'oop north' ready for the 5 minute trip round the corner for the Twinwood Festival over the Bank Holiday.

I gave up the pub yesterday. The thunderbugs and wasps were out in force.Even the dogs had enough.

I got soaked to the skin giving the caravan a quick once over earlier today. I've managed to dodge the downpours since to load the car ready for the off in the morning but there's a massive weather front directly overhead at the moment, I hope it moves on by tomorrow.
