my advice is don't do it

I once got roped into recovering a 3litre granada with my VW LT35 camper yes it weighed over 3 ton and the grannie only 2 ton but add the weight of a 20ft car transporter 800kg and a tank of fuel and add so on ect.

it may be legal but it was a nightmare to do,

I had to take a 40mile detour to avoid a rather large hill

I would not do it and I'd advise against any one doing it

I would say NO NO NO unless you are mad ;-)

But forgetting any other advice here, ask your insurers and the boats insurers. If something went wrong, would you be covered all ways.
