I have tha Alko and it is perfect as it is purpose made to fit under the chassis even with a flat tyre many other jacks do not, there is a new one on the market whose name escapes me but advertised in the latest magazines it is orange and maybe has an edge over even the Alko as it has the same locating plates but works hydraulically like a bottle jack so less effort needed.

Hi Janet

Could you clarify when you purchased the Trail-A-Mate and price.

Also how long was it before you approached my husband for a refund, when you decided that you did not wish to fit it.

We have sold hundreds and also refunded a few who had a problem for whatever the reason sometimes up to nearly a year later.

I doubt if you could do that with most products.

As you are the first to complain in this manner, I feel it would be only right of you to contact us so we can rectify the problem.

As far as cutting two small holes in your caravan they are in the skirting and not in the side of the caravan and we have just had an ariel fitted and that had to have holes cut in the roof, as many caravanners do so I do not know what the problem was with that.

Please contact us and we will try and sort this out.

Hi,

look at the Purpleline Kojack, it comes with plates that fit the standard Alko chassis and will lift 2000kg. It is a hydraulic scissor jack and positively locates onto its mounting plates. I have an Alko sidelift and seeing a friends Kojack I would prefer to have the Kojack. Retails at around
