After the report yesterday about Tesco banning people shopping in their pyjama's and slippers I thought it was April 1st.

Is this a habit of only those who live in Cardiff or is it a habit of other places?

After going all over the country touring in the van and using all the major supermarkets I've yet to see anyone dressed in this attire.

Has anyone else seen this occurence in their area or is it particular to Cardiff?

Hi Lord B,

Saw that in the newspapers yesterday and got to agree I found it hard to believe. I've never saw anyone in Tesco or any other supermarket either here at home or at any holiday destination wearing their pjs.

Mind you with some of today's fashions it's hard to decide what is nightwear and what is daywear. When I saw your post I also had a fleeting mental image of you doing your shopping with your monogrammed pjs and ermine dressing gown.

Working in this the area of Cardiff being referred to by the media, it is common place to see young females wearing pyjama bottoms and slippers throughout the whole day.

I enquired some years back why? and I was told that they were cheap and comfortable, in fact one girl actually told that she would be arrested if she wore her baby dolls.

What you will see is females walking around like they just got out of bed and decided to go shopping.

What no ones made reference to is the cut sort pyjamas tops showing all the belly button jewellery.

I would post a photgraph but I know it would be centered sorry Highlander.
