JML

Has any one tried the jml putty that you can use on pipes that are leacking with water runing and many other repears about £5 thought it mabe a good thing to keep in van to get out of trouble.

Used a similar product, not JML, last year on a water pipe that had burst during the winter frost had intended it only as a temporary measure but the repair lasted the entire season. Would definetly recommend having it in your tool box.

Is this the 2 part putty that you kneed together then goes hard. I used something like this on my freezer drawflaps a couple of years ago. It was that only thing I found that would tollerate the cold and damp. Still OK. I always keep some in the boot now.
Lidls is currently selling it for about £2.99.
