Looking to change the jockey wheel clamp on a Bailey Unicorn Cadiz 2012. Seems to be welded on to the frame. Is that right? Any suggestions on how to change it? Thanks.
If its welded, rather than bolted, then you will need an angle grinder to remove it and some form of welding equipment to fix the replacement to the chassis..
HOWEVER any welding will destroy the galvanised coating in the area around the weld.
Welcome to the Forum SafetyT.
It‘s highly unlikely your clamp is welded to the Al-ko chassis. As said by Plodd the chassis are galvanised and not easily post factory welded.
All my Bailey’s have clamps that are bolted to the chassis. If you look at Baileys parts website, Prima Leisure you will see this. Obvious the other piece has the lever and other side of the clamp.
any chance of a photo of your clamp?
