Jockey wheel

I need a mew jockey wheel and thinking of doing it myself. Looking at it there's a split pin to remove and if I'm right the shaft should then slide out. Please inform me if I'm right or wrong. Sterling Eccles Quartz 2011

You are right.
Remove the split pin, slide the shaft out.
It is worth giving the ends of the shaft where they go through the shoe a good squirt of penetrating oil a couple of days before working on it.
