Hallo,

We have had the same problem with our new Swift.

It had dropped out AND got stuck in!!

On examination,it had got slightly bent.

I have the tools and the past metal working experience , so i "bashed" it straight , it seems ok now.

If you can , extract it , and take to a enginnering workshop. they should be able to tell you if it needs work.

Good luck!!

We too had the same problem initially, to get over the problem we push the "gold bar" into its slot and hold it down whilst turning too lock the jockey wheel in place. We have found that we have to release the locking lever more tham you really need too as the "bar" lifts out if you don't. Hope this helps
