I have one of these AL-KO jockey wheels fitted more so for the width of the tyre rather than the weigh gauge it has fitted, due to how it moves it helps the wheel climb up and down the kerb a lot easier than a solid one when parking it back in the garden the other benefit is that you can remove the wheel quite easily to get more ground clearance to pass over speed bumps with out fowling the wheel.

I would not trust anything thing like this to be used as a nose weight gauge...

I use one of these for checking the nose weight before leaving site.

20kg difference .. between the gauge on the jockey wheel and the bathroom scale .... not right good if your tug has only got a low tow bar weight. ..

There was a long running discussion here about nose weight but whatever method you use as long as the hitch is the same height as the towball and you are on level ground you should get the same result.

Am at work at the moment so this is posted from my phone. ...

They did do a version for twin axles but can't remember what the difference was...
