jokon rear lights

I have a bucaneer elan (1994) with jokon wrap round lights.Having removed the lights they have all been bodged,wires have been soldered straight onto to the bulbs and all other nasties (how you change a bulb at the side of the road i give in)As all the conecters on the back are broke i have purchased two new units.My only concern is there is no seal between the unit and caravan so all the water and crud can go straight in.Should there be a seal if not is there something i could use

Have you had a look at the Jokon web page. It lists all their products and if a seal is required, it should be there. If not, then e mail Jokon and see what they say. You could of course try Buccaner, if they are still aorund, but it appears they may not have your full confidence.

I think all the bad repairs were done by the previous owner and not a fault of bucaneer.Thank you for the link
