I am very pleased to tell you Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 11 has not included me or Hutch in her Honours list . We were expecting an MBE for our services to Ale Testing. Maybe next year😜
 
One of my work mates a pilot, Barney Swinton Bland, was honored with an OBE, when I asked him what he got it for he replied, Other Buggers Efforts.
RIP Barney a real gent.
 
Here in Congleton we have a genuine "Official Town Ale Taster."

I thought about applying for the post but my wife suggested I was over-qualified. 😕

That’s very much like Cricklade. We have a Court Leet with an Ale Taster. Goes back to Saxon times

Possibly your best hope is services to the internet, but the award may not turn up for a few years yet and there will be competition.
