Jubilee weather

Not sure about anywhere else, but here in south Gloucestershire it is raining with a strong wind. This is going to put a real damper on many Jubilee celebrations which is great pity as many places have gone all out spending time and money to make sure that every one has a great day on this very special day.

Yesterday was a street party in our close, we didn’t go as my wife was away on holiday, and I decided to take the dog onto Salisbury Plain. It was lovely up there until the later afternoon when persistent showers set in. When I drove home it was raining but the gathering was in full swing, and it was still going when I went out for a takeaway at 1830. Gazebos, parasols and wet weather clothing to the fore.

Here in North Lincolnshire it a dry and cloudy day been out with my two dogs for a walk in the park on my mobility scooter .

Had a friendly gathering in our close of eight houses in our village near Crawley/East Grinstead.
Blazing sunshine ...in shorts and sun glasses needed....chocolate biscuits melted.....cakes quickly eaten to save them from scorching!
Just as well because today it has been pisculating it down but easing off now!

BBQ planned for this afternoon for 5 couples, a bit overcast just now, but temperatures starting to rise. Just a pub lunch yesterday, lovely weather. Dog sitting for a week then away in the caravan.
