Hi I have a problem with my Kampa air awning connecting tube has started to louse air have only used it once before 12 months old am putting more air in tubes than a Kwik fit fitter does anyone know if small tubes by this I mean small connecting tubes can be replaced have repaired holes with puncture repair kit or do I have to replace hole main tube !! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Are you sure it is one of the interconnecting pipes between the tubes that is leaking.
Fully inflate the whole thing and then close ALL isolation valves.
Does it still leak?
I am on my fourth outer leg tube and second outer middle tube. The tubes are made up of three parts.
In fairness to Kampa every time I have spoken to them from site a next day delivery of the replacement part has been couriered to me FOC. Thus not too much of my holidays have been ruined.
Establish where the leak is and ask them to send you the part.
For me we still use our faithful Isabella Magnum whilst Mr " leaky" stays in the loft
I had a problem with a leak from the connecting small tube that is connected to the main tube. Being small a patch could not be used so I phoned Kampa for their advice and they sent a complete new tube to me.

OK, nobody wants faulty equipment, but I am surprised and glad to hear how many folks have said that they have had a reasonable response from Kampa when things go wrong.
I have no experience with Kampa awnings to date, but I do have one of their tents, not cutting edge in technology or in weight performance etc. but Kampa does not promote the product in that way.
Said tent was very low cost, has proved remarkably durable and effective and a really good tent to camp with, I remain very pleasantly satisfied with the product, so much so that I have always kept a mental note that Kampa should be on my consideration list for future purchases.

Onto our second kampa awning , had a 36o pole but now have the larger 39o pole since we got our new van as the 36o looked a bit small where as the 39o is just right for us , easy to put up by myself to , no complaints from us ,

Funny really, cos I bought a Kampa based on Dusty's and Sprokets earlier experiences with theirs and they were quite effusive about how they were pleased with them. So much so that I bought one, must say after second 'season' haven't been "let down" yet. - In fact after nearly 40 years of conventional pole awnings, quite pleased and impressed with air so far.
Right Twodogs2 I bought a Kampa 390 Air when they first came out. Infact I believe I was the first to buy one . Now I cant condemn Kampa but my Awning had 3 full sets of tubes in it each one had a leak. Now mine was leaking as I believe where yours is leaking in the grey inter connecting tubes. If this is so then Kampa still havnt got it right . After having a conversation with Kevin Pretso at Kampa he told me the tubes that they sent to me were of the original stock where they new there was a problem and I was promised the last set of tubes sent out to me were of the new stock where there wasnt any problems.Sad to say I didnt ever get to find out if they were any good or not I got rid told the buyer the story and he has gone away with the awning and a full set of tubes to fit in it As I said Kampa were very good about it but it got to the point where I was completely and utterly fed up with it .Good Luck with yours. Kampa also told me they had to restructure their warehouse as this problem had cost them .Pleas come back and let us know how you get with yours. Dust and I would love to know .

I've got a Kampa fiesta air 280 which I'm using on my 2nd season, due to also moving house 18 months ago about the same time I bought the awning it's not had loads of use, I'd reckon on around 10-12 outings varying from 2 weeks to a weekend in length and fingers crossed I'm not gonna jinx it for the future but not even a hint of a leak, we've found it easy to erect and as stable as any poled awning we've owned including a Bradcot, I treated myself to a kampa electric pump last time I used it and that's great as well, I've got the poles for keeping it tight against the caravan and the roof drape so as to not get any condensation drips, got the kampa remote controlled LED light as well so kampa have certainly had a shilling or three out of me but I can say with all honesty I'm chuffed with everything kampa I've spent my money on and if I had to make same decisions again I'm certain I'd buy exactly the same.

We have got a small traditional Kampa porch awning bought from new.

My Kampa awning leaks that I only have two poles inflated out of four ,we arrived Saturday and it's now Wednesday I am hoping Kampa will get them here today .
If left to the dealer it would be Friday !
My concern is after one year the one of the plastic pipes connected to the valve has frayed , I have taken pictures but the dealer thought I just needed to keep topping it up with air when you can hear it deflating . I have emailed Mark Lawless (Kampa CEO) Monday but as yet no reply .The dealer claims Kampa have 21 days to sort out !
I believe if you have to replace 2 tubes every year it is not fit for purpose and I shall get advice from my unions solicitors and maybe try the small claims court

Slightly different but we had an inflatable Kampa drive-away awning to fit an older caravan; unlike a regular caravan awning this had a sewn-in ground sheet. Rain water would run down the caravan from the awning rail as it appeared to leak from the kador strip and water would pool at the bottom of the airpoles - It was sent back and replaced with a Vango equivalent. This one did not leak.

We were away over the glorious May Day weekend, everyone relaxing on site when there was an almighty BANG and the inflatable awning on the 'van next to us popped!!! Never known a campsite go so quiet so quickly. They'd inflated to 11 (manufacturer recommended), gone out for a walk, and next thing there was an almost foot-long hole in one of the tubes. Apparently was 3 years old and never had a problem with it before.

I wish I’d never bought my Kampa it resides in the loft awaiting sale. However I can only praise Kamp’s After sales service. Three times over two years whilst on site the main supports failed . New tubes were couriered to my site next day delivery, . That’s excellent.

We have just bought our second Kampa. In all honestly I didnt like the first one as there was too much condensation, but apparently much of that has been improved. never had a problem with leaks with the first one.
They do say the air awnings can be easily put up with one person, so lets see if she can :lol: :lol: :lol:
