Has anyone used one of these grills in abroad, or would it be beter to invest in a gas bbq

hi , we use cadac , charcoal bbq , disposable bbq , & george foreman bbq grill which runs on electricity , the best and easiest to use & clean is the gf bbq grill , just plug in & clean with kitchen paper towel as you cook ....hasbo

We bought one of these last year and used it in France without any problems (it's 1500w, so you need to keep an eye on the supply amperage - at least a 6 amp hook-up). It worked very well and is useful if you just want to do a couple of burgers, steaks, etc. We also have a Cadac for when there's more of us or there is more to cook. The griddle is much much easier to clean than the Cadac!

cadac £70.0 plus the gas cylinder. Electric grill £22.0 and half the weight. I use the leccy grill and it cooks everything .
