Kampa Limpets

Without trawling through old posts I don’t know what general opinion is of the Kampa limpet system but I’ve been and bought them so will be trying them out this afternoon, not sure if my Kampa has the pre punched holes as it’s over in storage so got the hole punch as well, I’m pretty sure it’s going to be better than the poles which are pretty useless.

I believe these are screw-down suction cups?
I don't need them for the awning, but find similar devices very useful for attaching various things to the caravan sides. Most recently it was the Christmas lights, where the suction cups remained firmly in place for over two weeks.

I havent used them in anger yet, but we have them both for the awning and wheel arch draught cover, the latter I tried out just to see, and first impressions are that they are excellent.
The one reservation I have with the Kampa hole punch is that once the hole is cut, it isnt edged and therefore I suspect would allow the hole to fray or tear. My solution to that would be to use plastic eyelets.
