keepers cottage

Hi,

Has anyone been to Keepers Cottage CL site in Blackpool, I have just booked it and I have relized that its near to Blackpool airports flight path and there is also a Boarding kennel for dogs close by. OH isnt so keen on going now has she thinks we will be disturbed with the noise anybody with expirence of this site or any other CL's in the Blackpool area your comments would be greatful.

That's so strange - I was just looking at that site last night and thinking of booking, but it was it's location that put me off! Didn't know about the kennels though. Will be interesting to read any comments about it.

We generally go to another CL in the area, but in the 10 years we've been going it's gone from

My Mum and Dad go to keepers most weekends. They really like this site you should have no problems there .Its nice and clean and tolets and shower also no problem with noise very nice cl site.Darren

Thanks for your comments Darren, I have found out of my manager today who's from Blackpool that the airport shuts at 10pm. So with the airport shutting over night and your mum and dad visiting often with no issues its happy days I am now looking forward to our visit.

Is it walkable into Blackpool or would we still need the car?

Hi Moonstone,

I have not stopped at this site as yet but I have stopped at the main cc site which is down the road, you would'nt wont to walk into Blackpool from keepers cottage, But its only a short drive across the front or you could park at Stargate(south of the pleasure beach) which is up the road from the airport and catch the tram into town. The tram is a little expensive but if you have kids or fancy a treat why not.
