Kerb Weight

Hi guys.

So we live in a 4 bed house. 3 years ago my father in law moved in so to make space we bought an older cheap caravan for a 5th bedroom. Its been great but the damp is getting worse and Im not convinced it'll do another winter so we are on the search for something newer.

My issue is my car as it only has a kerb weight of around 1202kg. Caravans we are looking at are around the 1300kg to 1500kg. Is it as simple as get a bigger car or a smaller caravan?

Thanks
Marc

Or get a new van delivered.

John

Welcome to the forum, are you at anytime expecting to use the caravan away from home, if your only using it as an extra bedroom, then as JC states get the van delivered, a slightly larger van nearly always gives you more room, especially if you have an older teen-ager, that want to get away from parents. Or a parent that wants to get away from the family.
