A standard domestic one but with lower wattage than you would buy for a house. The “ dedicated” leisure ones are over priced and not that reliable. Bear in mind the current rating of your electric hook up. Power = volts x amps. So if you divide power by volts (240) you can get an idea of amps. Cannot remember precisely what make we last used, but it came from Argos. Think it was around 1 kw as a travel kettle.

We have tiny kettle, don't know what kW it is as we inherited from the previous owners being on holiday speed of boiling isn't an issue and it does two cups/mugs . I have seen travel kettles advertised at 1kW

We use a travel kettle, bought at a big caravan dealer back in the early '80s, still working well - it's 700w so takes it's time to boil a litre of water - but not much different to a modern 1kw kettle.

As others have suggested, or get one that will go on a gas hob.

We have a "generic" unbranded kettle that we got from our local supermarket, it's a smaller wattage than the branded models, inexpensive to buy, it's been well used believe me, as any excuse or reason is enough to warrant a brew from setting Off from home, motorway rests, arriving on site, leveling up,change of wind direction 😄etc

We have this kettle for sale. Bought last year and only used a few times. We have since sold the caravan. We are in Worcester. £10

We have a smallish whistling kettle for the gas hob, that sound is all part of the caravan experience for us.

Depends what sort of caravanning you do
Off grid. Gas / hob
Always with EHU. Electric

If you do both stick with a hob gas.
Why lug two kettles around

When you're already lugging a dual fuel cooker, a dual fuel fridge and a dual fuel heater, the extra weight of a kettle is insignificant.

We have a small 750W holds just 2 cups of water. It must be at least 40 years old now and still working fine. I do an Electrical safety test on it the beginning of each year to see if it needs replacing for the season, but has not failed yet,

We always had both kettles. We still have the gas one of the occasional use at home when we have no power.

We used a 1500 watt , plastic kettle, if on a 10 amp ehu, then Mrs H has to decide on drying her hair or boiling the kettle for a 2nd cup of tea.
Also have the standby gas whistling kettle.

I have a pan that serves as a backup kettle, never needed to use it but no doubt I will one day. ;)
We had the same theory, until we actually used the pan to boil water for teat and the taste was awful!!!! The (cheap) non-stick surface of the pan had obviously absorbed the flavours and spices of my wife's cooking over the years and decided to flavour the boiling water with it. We replaced all saucepans after that episode...........
