We had the same theory, until we actually used the pan to boil water for teat and the taste was awful!!!! The (cheap) non-stick surface of the pan had obviously absorbed the flavours and spices of my wife's cooking over the years and decided to flavour the boiling water with it. We replaced all saucepans after that episode...........
Green tea with prawn and mango curry. Not so bad really.

Sorry to be the omen of doom but we had one very like that one. I think it was that make, but hoping I am wrong. The water from it tasted awful, “plasticky “. We boiled it and emptied it several times to no avail. Ended up at the recycling tip.
I really hope yours is not the same, but can I suggest you try it at home before disposing of the packaging and arriving on site
Fingers crossed yours is fine

What kettle for a caravan.
I assume Electric? Long answer coming up
The fast boil kettles are 3kw or 13amps (13a v 230v = 2.99 Kw)
How much does your Park provide in hookup amps? 8amps = 1.84 kw 10amps = 2.3 Kw 16amps = 3.68 Kw.
Your home probably has (built in the last 40 years) 100 amps supply.
Bear in mind you have hot water heating cutting in/out at 0.3kw and the Fridge at 0.2kw you need a Kettle which consumes less, but for longer time boil. I have on occasions had to make sure the kettle is not on when the M/W is running, or my wife is drying her hair. A 1 Litre 1 Kw kettle should do you without having to go outside and trip in your power when raining.
Amazon do one at £14 Quest 35039

Ours is the glass type kettle and it was okay. I agree about the plasticky taste with some kettles.

Absolutely. Ours is now a low wattage stainless steel. Not the fastest boiler but we are on holiday so who cares.
