hi folks , had a little look at a 2008 kia carens 2.0 7 seat diesel today , quite a nice car just about fit small adults in rear seats , this car would mainly be used by myself & wife with 4 teenagers joining us for 10 days in france but only to & from airport we tow a bailey burgundy (1400kg) , as this car weights 1657kg the weight is within the 85% guide , honestjohn.co.uk gives it a good review & whattowcar.com car reviews are also good but one does say that the back sits quite low once hitched to a caravan ( is their any way some sort of device can be used to jack the back up ,i would need to pay someone as me and nuts & bolts are a no no)...your help needed , good or bad...pete
 
A very good friend of mine tows with a 7 seat Carens and is very pleased with it albeit he has a fairly light van , 1,000 Kgs.

The only thing that I don't like is the American style, foot operated parking brake which can take a bit of getting used to on a manual car.
