Kia Ceed 1600 diesel

Hi

I've read good reports about the Kia Ceed but does anyone have experience of towing with the 1.6 diesel?

The van is a Bailey 470/4 series 5 Kerb weight is 975Kg and the Kia is 1820Kg with Max towing weight 1400Kg so technically I should be OK but there is nothing like user experience.
 
We thought about having the 2 litre version but was put off by members of the kia sorento forum who claimed the 2 litre was a poor performer. Check out the torque and power figures.
