Knaus Starclass 560

Recently experienced problems with tyre blowouts. Fist one went in France in June and second tyre went in Germany in September Recently experienced problems with tyre blowouts. Fist one went in France in June and second tyre went in Germany in September this could not be a coincidence. So after investigation found Recently experienced problems with Tyre blowouts. First one went in France in June and second tyre went in Germany in September this could not be a coincidence The Tyres were Matador 195/70x15 with a max load at 900kgs each with a max weight of caravan of 1800 kgs no safety margin

Whilst in Germany I found a Knause agent who spoke to the factory technical helpline who advised an increase in tyres size to allow a safety margin. Has anybody else experienced blowouts with the Knaus. The Caravan is less that 3 years old and tyre pressures are checked regularly and the Van is not over the max weight of 1800kgs I am thinking of claiming off the supplier any suggestions???

Hi I did not experience a blow-out but found severe side wall cracking in the year old 184 x 14 Matador tyres on my Compass and it seems I am not the only one who has had bad experiences with this particular brand of tyre a quick search on this forum will revel others I would not purchase any caravan that comes supplied with these tyres again.
