Ian we stayed @ this site last july/aug lovely site excellent facilities toilets/showers swimming pool, good location in beautiful countryside with quiet roads, beaches approx 20 mins away, goood supermarkets close by.
Lake is 5 min walk down path through trees from site, lake is split up into two with brilliant walking/cycling around both lakes, creperie bar 20 min walk from site.
We booked with select-sites and visited a dozen other sites in the area and this was without doubt one of the top two in the area, all the pitches were very spacious and well maintained.
Just one bit of advice the site does not have much natural shade from the very hot sun take a gazebo to sit under as we were unable to enter the caravan until after 11pm when the temp started to drop, also dont forget the fan.
The site is family owned and they were very friendly and helpfull with very good english spoken.
We are going further down to Royan this year but will definetly return to this site again in the future.
