Ladram Bay Holiday Park

Hi Anthony,

I've never stayed there, but I have worked there.

It's a beautiful, quiet site in lovely countryside, with a nice shingle beach.

The shop is well stocked, the chip shop is very good and the cafe is ok. I can't comment on the bar and clubhouse because I've never been in.

I worked in the shop and chip shop for two or three seasons and people used to trudge in, after a day or two, and ask things like: "Is there a McDonalds near here?" (no), or "Where's the nearest SANDY beach?" (Exmouth)

If you want a busy site with lots of facilities and a big sandy beach, go to Haven Devon Cliffs; but, if you want a beautiful, quiet site set amongst the best Devon countryside, you'll love Ladram Bay.
