We are going to Troutbeck Head near Penrith in March and will probably need to stop on the M6 near Lancaster. Has anyone checked out the Forton services for caravans? We are relatively new to towing and would prefer easily accessible drive-through bays. It does not matter if they are with the lorries.

Hi Rose,

The caravan signs at Forton lead you to a separate caravan parking area which is shared with the Travel Lodge.The entrance is quite tight and sign posting confusing....suggesting it is for Lodge customers only.It is on the LEFT side of the road directly opposite the lorry park, so the choice is yours.
