Go to www.difflock.com and post a message under the Land Rover section of the technical forum.

There are lots of really helpful guys on there who should be able to provide you with good advice - especially if you want some ammunition to go back to the dealer with!.

Is it a knocking noise?

Is it diesel or petrol?
