Money watch BBC2 they showed a family on there having to cut back as there income had droped to only £50000.00 per year.

Perhaps a caravan dealer could show them how to have nice holidays in the UK or abroad, any one else have a thought?

Yes Neil I saw them, as I remember they were still spending more than they earned. They don't need advice they need a slap!!

Maybe an idea for a new 'Lifestyle' programme 'Salary Swap' - those on low incomes could swap salaries for a year with those earning a fortune - but carry on living in their own house, working at their old job, etc so they were at home but had to change circumstances! It could make very interesting TV.

Ooops wrong place!!

I would think that most pensioners would satisfied to be on the minimum wage.

Anyway, 50k a year is nothing really, thats the same as two people earning 25k each!

That aint unusually nor is it just professional class type money!

Indeed a sole provider earning 50k is less well off than a married/couple bringing in 25k each!
