Last nights tv

Money watch BBC2 they showed a family on there having to cut back as there income had droped to only £50000.00 per year.

Perhaps a caravan dealer could show them how to have nice holidays in the UK or abroad, any one else have a thought?

chris i will happily help you with that

knock some sense into them
Im glade im not the only one as a out of work car mechanic in Rainham Essex i would be willing to swope places with them, the money problem i mean not the slap

Maybe an idea for a new 'Lifestyle' programme 'Salary Swap' - those on low incomes could swap salaries for a year with those earning a fortune - but carry on living in their own house, working at their old job, etc so they were at home but had to change circumstances! It could make very interesting TV.

I know i'm setting myself up for a torrade of anti gareth mail here, but we must not forget that even though

Anyway, 50k a year is nothing really, thats the same as two people earning 25k each!

That aint unusually nor is it just professional class type money!

Indeed a sole provider earning 50k is less well off than a married/couple bringing in 25k each!

hi all

what kind of work did they do?(i didnt see the program)

i bet it was not a job where he had to get his hands dirty
