Hiya all, well we have made our first reservation to leave the cul-de-sac (UK)via "THE BLACK HOLE".It only cost us, in hard cash,£72 including the £60 for the two little bears (poms).We used our Tesco Vouchers for the other £200,isnt that marvelous?This is the reason we use our Tesco Mastercard to pay for EVERYTHING!The points soon mount up and our family help by using our card where possible and giving us the cash instead.Mind you we could not afford any interest charges so settle up every month.This is one of the few advantages to being old and wise!!!Just thought I would share this bit of trivia with you.I bet there will be lots of us thinking nomadic thoughts now that the new year has begun all fresh and untouched.

HIMSELF (Robert) is already talking about loading up the van,this is as he is packing away the xmas decorations!!!We arent going until April!!!

Hands Up who else is plotting and planning their escape?

Yes we are all booked up for next year,2 weeks in France - Perpingnan.Using the tunnel again this year with my Tesco vouchers,my company doesnt have accounts with any suppliers so reply on us to get everything then expence it,the same with accomendation and flights,which is why i use my Tesco cc its a nice little perk.

I cant wait to get away in the van again this year, but i think it will be a bit longer than usual for our first trip, the wife is expecting and we should have a new arrival, fingers crossed in febuary.

Logistics will be a lot harder with 2 kids, i can usually manage with a back pack for my stuff but i think il need a trailer on the back of the van now for the kids and wifes stuff.
