Laundry

Does anyone have solutions as to what they do with their dirty laundry? We were away for just a weekend and I was real fed-up looking at the clothes. What do others use for storing laundry? Any suggestions are welcome. Don't think I could face another trip looking at the clothes.

Hi Jennifer

I have one of those cheap jumbo zip up bags which I keep my dirty washing in. I usually keep it in the corner of the awning with the zip done up, doesn't look too conspicuous then!!

Jennifer,

We use a bag that is used for putting garden rubbish in. They are collapseable and stand neatly in the corner of the awning. The sell them in the garden section at tesco I think they are about

Hi Jennifer,

Best tip I read recently was when going away take all your old clothes that you really should throw away. Then simply wear them and throw away!, when you get home no dirty laundry...... what could be simpler.

ladies / gent, thanks for your comments, may look into zip up bag and garden waste bag. typical male comment, throw clothes away saves doing washing.. think after a few trips, you would run out of old clothes, "then what do we do".! lol.. must have been a man that wrote the artical.

Hi Jennifer

We keep one of those clear plastic storage boxes in the bottom of the wardrobe. Dirty clothes can easily be put into it and on arrival at home the whole box can be taken into the house. At home the box is put into the hall cupboard and anything needing to go back into the caravan - for example, clean towels, tins of food etc.,can be put in there until we go off again. Works very well. Chris

Soon as Ive unpacked the clothes in the wardrobe, I place a bin liner in the wardrobe (basic I know) and then as soon as any dirty we just sling in there.

Our wardrobe is huge in our end bathroom and I only take enough clothes for our trip (I never over pack)!

Hi

I have a large cotton draw cord laundry bag which we use for weekends, lives under the back bunk of caravan if awning is not up. For longer trips or when we have awning up I also use a laundry bag and stand, the bag is made of a sort of plastic which is attached to a lightweight metal folding frame, lives in corner of awning, its the sort you can buy from argos , supermarkets etc. Hope this helps Annette
