Lawns caravan show

Went to the Lawns today. Peasant trip out. Overwhelmingly statics.
Swift, Coachman and Elddis were there, with Elddis having the best display.
Next year they are moving to Harrogate, and instead of it being called the Holiday home and Caravan expo, it will be called Holiday home, Caravan and Motorhome expo.
Anyone else go.?

Never been, but a friend who manages a static site goes and loves it. It is a long way for us for the limited number of caravans they have.

Being pedantic! Weird title as no such thing as a motor home. The correct words are "motor caravan" as it is not a home. A home is a place where someone resides permanently or it is a place where people require care and supervision. Hmm! Maybe the latter does apply to some people who use motor caravans. :cheer:

There is a club who might not agree although technically you are right.

WE went-never been to a show; we had a fantastic time-all the caravans we wanted to see except Bailey (too far for them they say ) were there-Coachman, Eldis and Swift-so we could look decide then barter-and we got a fantastic deal-we loved the whole experience and at £2.50 each and free parking-what a total bargain for a day out! We will never simply buy from a dealer again if we can ever afford a new van! Sad it is going to Harrogate-no where near so handy for us-Lincs, but we would make that effort. Shame lunar weren't there-normally are but their issues have been well documented-and hope they're now on the up and up!
