Le Domaine de Drancourt, anybody been recently?

Hi all, has anybody stayed at the above site recently as we're considering booking for next year. If so, Is it any good, we've got two kids aged 8 and 11 will they enjoy? Any info gratefully appreciated.

We stayed at this site at the beginning of the season (Easter 2007). We called there en route to another site thinking that the indoor pool would be open and in use. Unfortunately it was not. The site as a whole was not ready for use. Only one toilet block was open and had not been cleaned. The play areas were poor really and only suitable for perhaps up to 8 years old. I don't think there is much for your 11 year old to do. What time of year were you thinking of going and are you going just for a break or a full blown holiday? If you just want a break and are saiing into Calais, I believe the better site would be Bien Assise. Another Castels site but I think in better condition. The indoor pool is always in use and you would be within easy reach of different places to visit. Great sized pitches on this site and it is well maintained. Nice play areas for all ages and a games room with air hockey.

Thanks Lesley, we were actually planning to have a full blown holiday there perhaps for 2 weeks?
